On-site, the hollow units are dry-stacked together to form walls. Assembly is quick and easy. The units are filled with ready-mix concrete to create a wall with exceptional standards of insulation and airtightness.

How it works
Building with Ecobrix is quick and straightforward. The pre-insulated interlocking ICF blocks are dry-stacked together to form the walls. They are then in-filled with concrete to create a monolithic structural walling system. Unlike other ICFs, there is no need for propping during construction as the weight of the units holds them in place.
Ecobrix ICF is manufactured in South Wales from woodcrete – recycled wood fibre material which is bonded with cement.

FOR SELF-BUILDERS AND CONSTRUCTION PROFESSIONALS
We hold regular EcoBrix (formerly Durisol) ICF ( insulated concrete forms) training sessions where we’ll show you how to build with EcoBrix. You’ll be able to get hands-on experience and find out the answers to all your EcoBrix queries.
Whether you’re a self-builder or an experienced construction worker, we’ll tailor the course to suit your needs.
We hold training at our Grimsby based depot or, we can also deliver training on-site by special arrangement.
Our training day typically covers the following:
· Introduction to EcoBrix woodcrete icf blocks
· Explanation of EcoBrix PSI values and how it affects your SAP calculations.
· A practical explanation of the different EcoBrix units.
· Practical building with EcoBrix including all openings.
Throughout the day we’ll have a technical expert on hand to answer your queries.
